GRUNDY CENTER – West Branch went 1-2 at the Grundy Center tournament on Tuesday falling to Hudson 23-21, 21-15 and Grundy Center 21-16, 21-19 and defeated AGWSR 21-19, 21-4.
With the 1-2 performance Tuesday West Branch ran its season record to 5-3.
Abby Knoop had seven kills and 13 digs against Hudson while Sydney Lamont and Claire Bridges each had three kills.
Knoop had eight kills and nine digs and DaLana Kron had 12 digs in the loss to Grundy Center.
In the win over AGWSR Knoop had seven kills and Bridges added six while Kron had a team-high 13 digs and two ace serves.
