WILTON – West Branch fell to Class 2A No. 15 Wilton 25-21, 21-25, 25-18, 22-25, 12-15 in a River Valley Conference South division match on Tuesday in Wilton.
Wilton improved to 10-1 on the season and 1-1 in RVC play while West Branch dropped to 5-5 on the season and 0-2 in RVC play.
Abby Knoop led West Branch with 24 kills and 21 digs while Claire Bridges added 11 kills, 20 digs and three ace serves for the Bears.
Sophie Nopoulos had 22 assists and 16 digs while DaLana Kron collected 24 digs for West Branch.
Riley Vaughan handed out 21 assists and Courtney Jarrett had three ace serves in the loss.
