West Branch defeated Northeast 25-18, 25-19, 25-18 in a River Valley Conference match on Thursday in Goose Lake.

Abby Knoop had a match-high 14 kills as West Branch improved to 6-5 on the season and 1-2 in RVC play.

Northeast dropped to 3-9 and 0-3 in conference play with the loss.

Claire Bridges and Abbey Fryauf each had seven kills for West Branch and Bridges added five ace serves in the win.

Riley Vaughan added three ace serves as West Branch had nine aces on Thursday.

Sydney Lamont added five kills for West Branch and Sophie Nopoulos had 18 assists.

DaLana Kron collected a team-high 18 digs.
