Cooper Kabela had a quiet game on Saturday. Quiet for Kabela standards that is.
Kabela had 13 points and 11 rebounds but got plenty of help from his teammates in a 66-41 non-conference win at Alburnett (1-3) on Saturday.
Beau Cornwell had a game-high 26 points and grabbed four steals as West Branch improved to 4-1 with its third straight win.
Ben Thompson had eight points and Brett Schiele had seven for West High which built a 42-18 halftime lead.
Freshman Tanner Lukavsky had five points, nine rebounds and three assists in the win.
